“Vatsalya” is a teacher training and education institute committed to nurturing the next generation of educators with excellence, empathy and innovation. Established with the vision of empowering aspiring teachers, we offer comprehensive diploma courses that combine academic rigor with hands-on experience.
The early years, defined globally as age 0-8, is known to be the most important stage of development of the human brain. A large body of worldwide research demonstrates that exposure to enabling environments and access to appropriate inputs during this period is fundamental to ensuring that children have a firm foundation on which to build, both in school and in life. Recognizing the importance of the early years, Target 4.2 of the Sustainable Development Goals states, “By 2030, ensure that all girls and boys have access to quality early childhood development, care and pre-primary education so that they are ready for primary education.”
The biggest hurdle in ensuring quality pre school education is lack of
appropriately trained teachers equipped with skills to engage children
through child centred pedagogy. In addition to this, very few pre -
schools and day care centres have been established for children
belonging to lower middle class and economically weaker communities
residing in urban, sub urban and rural areas. There is a huge
requirement and demand for such schools and centres which are affordable
for lower income groups.
Vatsalya Institute of Teachers Training
& Education is committed towards providing quality trainings to
aspiring teachers ready to serve these communities. After completion of
the course these students will be eligible to avail job opportunities in
schools and day care centres. The organization may also provide them
technical support to establish day care centres and pre-schools in their
own localities, thus creating a platform for income generation and
self- employment.
