Primary Teacher Training (PTT)

Duration:  1 and 2 Years Diploma

Eligibility Criteria: 10+2 passed from a recognized Board

Primary Teacher Training is course that prepares individuals to teach young children, typically aged 3 to 12 years. It's a professional qualification that focuses on early childhood education and primary school teaching.

In the PRIMARY TEACHERS TRAINING (PTT) 2 Years course, there are a total of 24 subjects, distributed across four semesters. 

Key aspects of PTT:

  • Target Age Group: 6-12 years. 
  • Curriculum: Covers subjects like School Organization, methods of teaching, Child Psychology, lesson-plan, preparing of teaching aids, language, arts along with pedagogy, classroom management, and assessment methods. 
  • Certification: Completion of PTT qualifies you to teach in primary school settings. 
  • Career Opportunities: Teaching in schools, educational centres and educational NGOs. 
  • Eligibility: Typically requires a minimum of 10+2 (or equivalent) for the diploma course. 
  • Duration: The PTT course can range from one to two years.
